Eugene, OR The Pacific Martial Arts Conference was formed in 2007 by Sensei Alan Best of Best Martial Arts Institute as a place for martial artists from various disciplines to learn from one another in friendship, and to strengthen the martial arts community in the Pacific Northwest. Each day of PacMAC consists of a series of 25-minute mini-courses with teachers of a multitude of martial arts. The spirit of cooperation and respect is a great reflection of the spirit of martial arts as participants train together,and learn from one another. The "Battle of the Champions" tournament series has been running since 1983. We hold 2 "Battle of the Champions" tournaments per year, this yerar we will hold one in April ("Battle of the Champions" I)and the other in September ("Battle of the Champions" II). These are major Open Style Point tournaments held at a local High School Gym. All schools and styles are welcome. Trophies are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in 6 Division Categories: This is a "Single Elimination" tournament.
